Donate!

National Novel Writing Month needs your books to help support its free writing programs for adults and kids!  You don’t need to participate in the writing challenge in order to donate, and there are several ways you can get your books to us.  If you’d like to do more, print out one of our fliers and hang it up at work, at your favorite coffee shop, at your library, and anywhere else you can think of!  You can also volunteer, and help me collect and sort books.

  • Bring you books to a drop off location and leave them in one of our labeled boxes.
  • Bring your books to a Pittsburgh region write in.  You’ll be able to tell who we are by the preponderance of laptops and notebooks.
  • If you have a large number of books you want to donate, email narrativeintheblog@gmail.com to arrange pick up.  I can pick up from anywhere within Pittsburgh city limits and the surrounding areas.

  • Unopened software.
